Three Sumatran tiger cubs born at the Smithsonian's National Zoo huddle together just before their first routine health exam. The tiger is listed as endangered on the U.S. Endangered Species List. They can live to 20 years of age in zoos but only 15 years in the wild. Mature Sumatrans—females weigh between 165 and 242 pounds, and males weigh between 220 and 310 pounds. See the following photos and get a glimpse of the tiger cubs at the National Zoo.
