The National Marine Corps Museum is a state-of-the-art museum designed to help visitors see, feel and appreciate what it means to be in the Marine Corps. The exhibits use the latest technology and hands-on activities to help visitors examine the role of the Marines throughout American history. The galleries are arranged by era highlighting the experience of the Marines during World War II, the Korean War, and Vietnam. Three additional galleries, scheduled to open in 2010, will chronicle the Revolutionary War, the Civil War, and World War I.
