Alexandria's Annual George Washington Classic 10K Race

Get your running shoes laced up and celebrate George Washington’s Birthday! Alexandria's Annual George Washington Classic 10K Race is scheduled for Saturday, February 14, 2009 at 8:30 a.m. This is a rain or shine event.

There is a new certified course through Eisenhower Valley and along Holmes Run through Alexandria Parklands. A 2K Fun Run will also be held. Race headquarters is the AMC Hoffman Theatre located at 2500 Eisenhower Avenue. This years race benefits the Alexandria Police Youth Camp. Prizes, t-shirts, and refreshments will be provided.

Registration is $22 per runner before February 12th, after February 12th, it is $25 per runner. Spectators are free! For registration or additional information, see www.WashingtonBirthday.net
