Oronoco Bay Park is a 4.5 acre park located along the Potomac River in Alexandria, Virginia. This historic area was inhabited by Indians in the mid 17th century and later owned by Standard Oil Company. In the 1980s, the City of Alexandria acquired the land and developed it into a park. Today, Oronoco Bay Park is a popular location for picnicking, walking, biking, and jogging. Festivals and special events are held in the park during the warmer months of the year.
