Guide Review - Bonefish Grill Restaurant Review

Bonefish Grill specializes in market fresh fish prepared to order over an oak-burning grill, which gives the fish a tasty, even cook. The restaurant serves a variety of sauces and toppings to enhance the flavor of the fish. Fresh ingredients are added such as hearts of palm, pine nuts, artichokes, goat cheese and sun dried tomatoes. The menu includes some non-seafood options such as steaks, pork tenderloin, pasta and chicken dishes.

The Bonefish Grill does not feel like a chain restaurant. The decor provides a cozy setting with sleek design features such as beautiful golden hardwood floors and hand-blown glass lamps. The dining room is spacious and there is a large bar area with community tables.

Decided to celebrate my birthday at Bonefish Grill. Got in with no problem and was greeted by waiter who took drink orders. Kids ordered off Children's menu which had some healthy options for them. Children's menu was supposed to include drinks which were never offered to my kids - they drank just water. Hot bread was served with oil, but we were never given any bread plates. When we asked for more bread (the loaf was good but TINY) were we given bread but no additional oil which was used up with first loaf. Meals arrived in good time and were nice and hot. Food was tasty (except tilapia) but portions were very small given the price. Kids were still hungry when we left despite eating all their own meals and half of mine. Had to feed them a snack as soon as we got home. (My kids are not big eaters so I cannot imagine what a good eater would say). Water was not refilled as often as necessary and we were not checked on very often. My napkin was dirty and the tablecloth was torn at the corner. It was overall an average experience but for the money I'd take my family elsewhere next time.
