The Bottom Line

Café des Artistes offers an elegant atmosphere set among the columns of the main atrium of the Corcoran Gallery of Art. The restaurant offers a full lunch menu during the week, dinner on Thursday nights and a brunch buffet on Sundays. The food is nicely prepared and this is a wonderful place to take out of town guests.

The lunch menu at Café des Artistes includes a selection of hot and cold entrées, salads, and desserts. Dinner is offered on Thursdays only. On Sundays, the Café serves a buffet brunch including omelets, waffles, french toast, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, an assortment of salads, grilled chicken, pastries, fruit, desserts and more.

The Corcoran Gallery of Art is the oldest art museum in Washington, DC with collections from colonial times to the present. The museum is located across from the Ellipse and within walking distance of the White House and Presidents Park.
