Guide Review - IndeBleu Restaurant Review - Washington, DC
The menu at IndeBleu caters to a variety of appetites and tastes with a wide range of dishes. Some interesting starters include Tuna Tartare Spring Roll, Bay Scallop Green Curry and Curried Shrimp Fries. We especially enjoyed the Sliders which were a unique combination of lamb with goat cheese, mint & cumin mayo and for our main course the Bass “Pad Thai” Mushroom, ginger, tamarind, bean sprouts, peanuts & coconut stir fry Topped with sautéed bass served with cilantro jalapeño purée. This was a really unique and tasty dish. Other signature dishes include Spring Mushroom Pasta, Masala Seared Salmon, Duck Chili “Relleno” and All Natural Filet of Beef. For dessert we loved and highly recommend the L’Opera, which is an almond biscuit, kahlua cream, chocolate ganache, and pistachio ice cream.
The decor is modern and comfortable with spacious seating, high ceilings and large windows that overlook a view of the Verizon Center and the National Portrait gallery. There is an elegant private dining room in the back for private parties.
