Signature dishes guests should not miss at Jack’s Restaurant & Bar include tender calamari lightly breaded and fried served with a French remoulade sauce; chef’s signature tomato bisque; braised lamb shank served on a bed of risotto with rosemary glace and the Maple Leaf Farms’ duck with confit duck leg served with tarragon sauce. Poached pear with red wine sauce and parfait glace Grand Marnier are two of the tempting desserts.
Jack's Restaurant & Bar opened in January 2007. I predict that this bistro will become a busy neighborhood hangout, especially during the spring and summer seasons, when additional seating is available on the patio.
