Guide Review - Old Hickory Steakhouse Restaurant Review - Gaylord National Resort
The specialty here is steak with a menu ranging from an 8 oz. Beef Tenderloin to a 24 oz. Porterhouse. Other dishes include salmon, scallops and chicken. Side dishes are served to share including items such as Creamed Spinach, Roasted Asparagus Truffle Fries, and Truffle Mac & Cheese. My steak was perfectly cooked and I especially enjoyed the Truffle Mac & Cheese. The restaurant's unique feature is the Maitre d'Fromage, who makes a tableside presentation of cheeses from around the world that have been stored and aged in their glass-enclosed cheese cave. Guests can create their own cheese course at the beginning or the end of the meal. We enjoyed a nice variety of cheeses and topped the meal off with a satisfying glass of port.
Old Hickory Steakhouse has 5 separate rooms accommodating a total of 220 people. The rooms offer an intimate setting and the availability to close off space for a private party.
