Guide Review - Restaurant K - Washington, DC Restaurant Review
The menu at Restaurant K features modern American cooking with a South by Southwest influence including unique appetizers such as Wild Mushroom Baklava and Sake Marinated Sea Scallops. Main courses are dishes such as Venison Pot Roast, Pork Osso Buco, Crab and Lobster Shepherd’s Pie and Marinated Hanger Steak. An interesting item on the lunch menu is a Fried Green Tomato BLT, a cornmeal and parmesan cheese crusted green tomato, with apple-wood smoked bacon, romaine and Chipotle mayonnaise. Each dish that we tried was tasty and a bit unusual.
