Guide Review - Tuscana West Restaurant Review
Tuscana West specializes in Italian dishes such as pasta, stone-baked pizzas, and char-grilled seafood and meats. Signature dishes include items such as a 16 oz. Veal Chop, Caramelle all Salvia, a housemade saffron ravioli filled with chicken and vegetables and a Whole Red Snapper. Highly recommended is the calamari which is lightly battered and very tender. Also, the Veal Tuscana West was excellent. The tiramisu is very light and airy and was a nice way to finish the meal.
The decor at Tuscana West is very warm and inviting. The bar is decorated with dark, rich colors and big comfortable leather chairs. There are four different dining rooms. Each has a different ambiance and can be partitioned off for a private party. The restaurant can accommodate up to 300 guests. The outdoor patio faces Franklin Square, a tree-lined urban park in the heart of downtown Washington, DC.
