Wisp is Maryland's only ski resort and is located near Deep Creek Lake in Garrett County. The area offers a wide range of amenities and activities. A new expansion to Wisp Ski Resort adds 10 trails and two quad chairlifts. Activities include skiing, snowboarding, snow tubing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, and sleigh rides. The Wisp Resort Hotel offers a fitness center, indoor heated pool, racquetball courts and spa.
