One of the highlights of the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum is the Albert Einstein Planetarium. The Planetarium uses a high tech digital projection system and six-channel digital surround sound to give you the sensation of zooming across the skies and through the galaxy. Most programs last about 20 minutes.

You may buy Planetarium tickets online, at the box office and by phone at (202) 633-IMAX (4629). Tickets are $8.50 per adult, $7 per child (ages 2-12), $7.50 for seniors (age 55+) and $6.50 for Smithsonian members. Additional fees are charged to phone and online purchases.

While visiting the National Air and Space Museum, you may also see an IMAX movie. Combination tickets are available at a discount.
