Cirque du Soleil performed in Washington DC with the premiere of OVO from September 9 – October 24, 2010. The performance was held under the trademark blue-and-yellow Grand Chapiteau (Big Top) at National Harbor. Cirque du Soleil OVO is described as "a headlong rush into a colorful ecosystem teeming with life, where insects work, eat, crawl, flutter, play, fight and look for love in a non-stop riot of energy and movement."
Comments: I saw the premiere on Sept. 8th. It's an amazing performance that keeps you on the edge of your seat. Spectacular costumes, sets and characters. The venue provides a great view from every vantage point.
