The Alexandria Festival of the Arts transforms the streets of Old Town Alexandria into an outdoor art gallery featuring 200 of the nation's top award-winning artists. The free outdoor art festival will line six blocks of King Street showcasing sculptures, paintings, photography, glass, jewelry and more. This popular outdoor event will feature art with prices ranging from $25 to $30,000. The show is set up along King Street and stretches all the way down the street to the Potomac River. The “Alexandria Art Experience” features artist-led, hands-on, creative activities, and an Ice Cream Bowl Fundraiser, presented by The Art League and the Torpedo Factory Art Center. The exhibiting artists are juried by an independent panel of expert judges and hand-selected from hundreds of applicants based on quality and diversity.
