The Asian festival in
Reston, Virginia presents unique music, cultural performances, food, beauty pageants, fashion, handicrafts, gifts, and other products and entertainment of Asia. The Asian Festival is sponsored by the Thai Tennis Organization in America (TTOA), the Reston Association and Singha Beer to promote growth in the sport of tennis and a greater understanding of the Asian culture from Thailand, China, India, Philippines, Japan, Korea, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Indonesia, etc.
This year the Asian Festival will showcase India, celebrating and exploring the diverse Indian cultures by presenting authentic
regional foods, arts, crafts and entertainments including the ever exciting Bollywood & Bhangra dancing.

Food, Shopping and Entertainment
Twenty-five well-known Asian restaurants will feature authentic specialty dishes from their countries and regions. A multi-cultural marketplace will feature unique items imported from various regions of Asia. The Asian Festival will have three different stages highlighting non-stop performances, fashion shows, Asian martial arts demonstrations, music, and even an Asian Idol contest, where anyone can sing any song in any language for a chance to win $1,000.
Tennis Events
Several tennis attractions will occur in conjunction with the Asian
Festival, including the all-day Tennis Zone, the Tennis Block Party, and the USTA Pro Circuit $75,000 Women's Challenger Wildcard Tournament. The Tennis Zone includes a Nintendo Wii tournament, the fastest serve contest, an interactive sport wall, raffle prizes, and other tennis games. The Block Party, which occurs from 4:00-6:00 p.m., includes a free tennis clinic, a chance to meet celebrity players, a raquet demo, and even on-court prizes. Be sure to watch and cheer for your favorite tennis players as they compete for a chance to play at the largest prize-money tournament in town.
Destination Asia
A special competitive exhibition area within the Asian festival is open to Asian Embassies, individuals, associations, organizations or groups to show-case the cultures of their respective countries.
