DC Summer Carnival 2011 at RFK Stadium

The DC Summer Carnival, featuring more than 100 thrilling rides, games and attractions, will bring family fun to the nation's capital this summer. The carnival’s main attraction is the Mega Drop — a drop tower ride that rises to 130 feet. Adventurous festival goers can enjoy this exhilarating ride as they are released at the top, dropped to the ground and caught by the ride’s magnetic breaking system. Rides also include the Alpine Bobs, Zipper, Super Loops, Orbiter, Giant Wheel, old favorites like the Tilt-a-Whirl and Merry-Go-Round and more. The DC Summer Carnival offers traditional carnival favorite foods such as funnel cakes, candy apples, cotton candy, pizza, popcorn and special treats such as fried Oreos and fried candy bars.
