The H Street Festival is an annual street festival designed to showcase the unique qualities of this vibrant Washington, DC community. The event is a part of the revitalization strategy to bring attention to the developing arts and entertainment district spanning 10 blocks of H Street NE. The 2013 festival is bigger and better than ever featuring more than 50 artists and 80 performances on 10 stages plus an array of local, regional and international cuisine, shopping, arts exhibits, educational events, seminars and conversations with local entrepreneurs, artists and community organizations.

H Street Festival Highlights
- More than 150 local restaurants, vendors and food trucks will offer a variety of food selections and there will be several beer gardens and vodka tasting areas.
- Ten stages will feature a variety of entertainment, including rock-n-roll, rap, jazz, opera, soul music, gospel, Caribbean and more.
- There will also be pie eating and tattoo contests, live boxing, martial arts demonstrations and additional entertainment.
- The family zone will provide kid-friendly entertainment and interactive events plus a fitness area, featuring a climbing wall as well as other health-promoting events.

The closest Metro stations are Union Station and New York Avenue. Expanded service will be available on the H Street Shuttle from Chinatown and Eastern Market. Bike Valet will be provided by WABA.
