The Herndon Festival is a summer event, hosted by the Town of Herndon, Virginia and the Parks and Recreation Department, that features live entertainment, international foods, carnival rides and games, children's entertainment, a business exposition, 10k & 5k races, a Fitness expo, model railway exhibit, an arts and crafts show and two fireworks displays. The event is the largest FREE festival in Northern Virginia.
New for this year: Kid's Alley with strolling interactive performers; an Americana Themed Day on Sunday afternoon on the Herndon’s Municipal Center lawn; 7-eleven at top of business expo giving away free slurpees; and new vendors with great prizes.

Fireworks: Thursday and Saturday at dusk.
Parking is limited. A free shuttle bus will run to the festival from Worldgate Shopping Center and Herndon High School.
