The Herndon Festival is a summer event, hosted by the Town of Herndon, Virginia and the Parks and Recreation Department, that features live entertainment, international foods, carnival rides and games, children's entertainment, a business exposition, 10k & 5k races, a Fitness expo, model railway exhibit, an arts and crafts show and two fireworks displays. The event is the largest FREE festival in Northern Virginia.
New for this year: The first ever E-sports tournament - League of Legends Cup, a multiplayer online battle arena video game. Participants must register online in advance. Prizes will be awarded up to $1000.

Parking is limited. A free shuttle bus service will transport attendees to and from the festival area, departing every ten minutes from 12975 Worldgate Dr. Riders can park in the Worldgate parking garage and from Herndon High School (by the large rock at the entrance to the school) off Bennett Street. Parking at both shuttle bus pick-up/drop-off locations is free. A free bike valet service will be located at the corner of Lynn and Elden Streets.
