The Italian Festival in Washington DC, Festa Italiana, celebrates Italian-American culture with a lively street festival featuring traditional Italian music, dancing, art, crafts and of course food – such as fresh pizza, pasta, sausage and peppers, Italian sandwiches, baked goods and much more. Date and Time: October 9, 2011, 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Location: Casa Italiana Cultural Center, 3rd and F Sts. NW Washington DC. The closest Metro stop is Judiciary Square. The festival is just a few blocks from Union Station which has plenty of public parking.
