The Silver Spring Big Cherry Block Party brings the celebration of the National Cherry Blossom Festival to the Maryland suburbs. The street festival features the best in Japanese art, cuisine, dance, fashion, flowers, music and much more to Downtown Silver Spring. The event kicks off with a cherry tree planting, inauguration and opening ceremony and will offer an array of activities and cultural displays throughout the day from sushi tastings, art exhibits, cultural and fashion performance, entertainment, martial arts and merchant sponsored events.
