Many inaugural balls and galas will be held in honor of the Presidential Inauguration throughout the Washington, DC area in January 2013. The official inaugural balls are usually by invitation only and the President, Vice President and their families make an appearance at most of them. Many unofficial balls are sponsored by local and national organizations and are open to the public. Advance tickets are required for most events and the pricing varies.

If you have details to share about an inaugural ball, please email them to dc@aboutguide.com. This information will be updated as the events are announced.
