The Bowie-Sevier House was built around 1800 by Washington Bowie, the godson of George Washington. It is now owned by media entrepreneur Robert Allbritton. The 12-bedroom house sits on two beautifully landscaped acres of land in the heart of Georgetown. The gardens were open to the public for the 2012 Georgetown Garden Tour.
