Cherry Blossom Bike Ride and Cycling Expo is a free event that kicks off the cycling season as part of the National Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington DC. The event features cycling workshops and four celebrity-led bike rides along the historic Capital Crescent Trail. Join inspiring riders including a Wounded Warrior Soldier rider and Stacey Capers from The Biggest Loser - Season 6.

The Cherry Blossom Bike Ride is organized into four different rider groups, based on level of experience. Rides for more experienced cyclists start earlier in the day and rides for more novice riders later in the day. Registration is free but limited to 100 riders per group.

The Cycle Expo will feature workshops on bike maintenance and emergency repairs. Local bike shops and vendors will hold sessions on Rules of the Road, Proper Bike Fit and How to Change/Repair a Tire at the Cycle Expo.
