The parade is cosponsored by the City of Gaithersburg, the Gaithersburg Harp & Shamrock Society, Montgomery County Recreation Department, and Peterson Corporation at Washingtonian Center. The Grand Marshals for this year’s parade are singer, songwriter Cathy Panton King, who grew up in an Irish neighborhood in nearby Hyattsville, Maryland, and MIX 107.3FM radio personality Robert Carson.
