Gaithersburg Saint Patrick’s Day Parade

The City of Gaithersburg, in partnership with the Harp and Shamrock Society, hosts a Saint Patrick's Day Parade featuring a pipe band, marching band, music, animals and more. The parade is cosponsored by the City of Gaithersburg, the Gaithersburg Harp & Shamrock Society, Montgomery County Recreation Department, and Peterson Corporation at Washingtonian Center.

The grand marshal of this year’s parade is radio personality Carson of MIX 107.3 FM. Also participating will be Gaithersburg’s Mayor and City Council, state and local officials, Gaithersburg Police, The Duffy School of Irish Dance, Ring of Kerry Irish Dancers, Maple School of Irish Dance, McGrath Academy of Irish Dance, Montgomery County Firefighters Pipes & Drums, Greyhound Pets of America/MD, Rose of Tralee Washington DC, fire trucks, equestrian units, and much, much more.

Date and Time
Saturday, March 13, 2010, 10 a.m. – noon.
Rain or Shine. When the parade is over there will be live music by the Martin Family Band and family activities in the plaza area until 1 p.m.

Parade Route
Washingtonian Center, Gaithersburg, Maryland. Parade begins at the Corner Bakery and ends at Kohls.
