Outdoor Swimming Pools in Washington, DC

The District of Columbia Department of Parks and Recreation operates several outdoor swimming pools that offer free swimming to Washington, DC residents. Admission for non-residents is $7 for adults and seniors, $4 for children ages 6-17 and $3 children ages 6 and under. Rates are subject to change. The operating hours are Tuesday – Friday: 1-8 p.m. and Saturday – Sunday: Noon-6 p.m. Some of the pools are open the full season from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day while some of them open just part of the summer.
