City Center DC is located between New York Avenue and 9th and H and 11th Streets within walking distance to the Washington Convention Center and the Verizon Center. The project broke ground in the spring of 2011 and the first phase is expected to be completed in late 2013. Construction of Phase II of the project is expected to begin in the first half of 2014. This is definitely a neighborhood to watch for future growth in the nation's capital.
