The Kentlands Development

The Kentlands was the region’s first new urban community, a mixed-use neighborhood developed in a suburban area as a residential area and a "downtown" commercial district. The Kentlands contains buildings from the original farm, residences including single-family homes, townhouses, condominiums and rental apartments; natural areas and parks; schools, churches, an art center; and a commercial area with grocery stores, banks, restaurants, movie theaters, retail and office space.
