2013 Festival Dates: June 1 - 2
The Vintage Virginia Wine Festival, held annually on the first weekend of June, is one of the largest and longest-running wine events on the East Coast. The event in Centreville, Virginia features tastings offered by more than 50 wineries including over 250 award-winning Virginia wines, educational seminars on food pairing, fine art exhibits, children’s activities, food and live entertainment.
Although wine is the highlight of the event, there is also plenty of great food available at Vintage Virginia. Don't miss the Maryland crab cakes, Giovanni’s Italian, artisan breads, gourmet cheese, and an array of roasted nuts, spreads and sweets. In 2013, for the first time, 15+ gourmet food trucks are scheduled to be onsite. Reknowned chefs will feature a full three-course meal uniquely segmented into three one-hour seminars each day of Vintage Virginia. The seminar presentations will showcase Virginia-inspired cuisine paired with Virginia award-winning wines.
