The Newseum

Definitely best place to go in DC. Lots of videos, interactive games, an amazing 4D theater experience, and cool views of the city. Gotta check it out.

Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum

This is a very attractive place for all ages. I have three children who are 12, 14, and 15 years old. My youngest son especially enjoyed this experience because of the amazing carvings of his favorite people that he is studying in school right now. My 14 and 15 year olds liked them too because they get a chance to look back at what they studied in school when they were younger. Anyway, I also liked it and we all had a fantastic time there.

The Capitol Building

We recently took a guided tour of the Capitol Rotunda and it was really interesting for me and my 13 and 15 year old daughters. The tour guides do a good job of explaining things and answering questions. The new Capitol Visitor Center is really nice and the exhibits that show how the Capitol changed over the years were pretty cool to compare. The girls especially liked the architecture of the Rotunda and looking at the statues in Statuary Hall.
